Odysseas Elytis

My favourite writer is Odysseas Elytis. He was born on 2nd November 1911 and he died in 1996. His real name was Odysseas Alepoudelis and he is one of the most important Greek writers. He was distinguished in 1979 with the NOBEL prize, the second and the last Greek who took a NOBEL prize in literature.

He is very successful because he wrote lots of poems like "Axion Esti", "Sun the first" and lots of other poems.

Odysseas Elytis is my favoutite writer because I like his history and his poems!

Funny Summer Weather

One day last summer it was so sunny and we decided to go to the sea to swim.
It was lovely. We played volleyball and beach tennis. We had real fun.
Then, suddenly it started to rain. We didn't have jackets and we were cold. So, we ran back home and as we were tired we had a bath and we went straight to our beds.
That day was fantastic!

Hi everyone!

I'm John, and I'm 10 years old. I love school and I'm crazy about basketball. I live in Kalamata in Greece and I've got two more brothers. 

The name of my 1st brother is Dimosthenis and the name of my 2nd brother is Theofanis. Dimosthenis is 7 years old and Theofanis is 2 years old. I’m the oldest boy in my home. 

The name of my mum's is Maria and the name of my dad's is George. My mum is a post woman and my dad is a postman. 

I have also got three birds. The 1st was given to us, the 2nd we bought it and the 3rd was found. 

My best friend is Nicolas because he always plays with me! 

Omelette Recipe

Dear Kostas,

Hi! How are you? I'm sending you this recipe for an Omelette for your webpage. I hope you like it.

You Need:

4 eggs 

a half cup of milk

salt

pepper

oil

bacon

First mix the eggs with salt, pepper and some bacon. Then add the milk and the oil and fry it with the potatoes.

Finally eat and enjoy this food!

A Film I Like

My favourite film is Ratatoui. Ratatoui is an adventure and a funny film. This story is both for children and for adults. The story was it about some rats and a restaurant in France. One of the rats is Ratatoui. His friend is Reme. Every day Ratatoui and Reme go to the restaurant and they take food to eat. But one day a man in the restaurant whose is Liguine

Last Weekend

Dear George,


Yesterday, it was a great day.
I got up at 9 o' clock.
I had breakfast and then I watched on TV cartoons.
At 11 o' clock I went to my basketball game.
My team was the winner.
After the game I came back home.
I had a bath and then my family and I visited our grantparents.
We ate moussaka and after that my brother and I played football.
We had a great time.
Finally, I met an old friend.
We went to the park and we played hide and seek.
At night we came back home.
We were so tired and we went to our beds at once.

Last Weekend

Last weekend I travelled to London with my family.

We bought lots of things there. 
Then we went to the Tower of London and after that we went to a museum.

That Saturday we had great fun.

When we went back to our house my mum made us moussaka. 
In the evening we went to the theme park and we went to every ride. 
On Sunday we went to the sea and we swam. 
Later, we went to my grandparents' and we ate rice with chicken. 
At night we went back home. 
I loved that Sunday. 

I think last weekend was real fun!!

Spaghetti alla Bolognese

 This is my favourite recipe!

You need:

spaghetti, tomato,onion, oil and bolognese sauce.
First put the spaghetti in hot water to boil. 
Then cut the onion and the tomato.
After that put the bolognese, tomato and onion in a pot with oil to prepare the sauce .
When it's ready you  serve the spaghetti with the sauce and lots of Parmesan cheese!
Have a great meal!

My favourite place

My favourite place is the ''Elatos'' restaurant. We visit it sometimes.
First I eat some salad and I drink some orange juice.
After that I eat a souvlaki. They have delicious souvlaki!
I don't eat dessert becauce the ''Elatos'' restaurant hasn't got any desserts
It's my favourite place because the food is delicious
