                                                                The Greek Legend

In the beginning of time the ancient gods lived on Mount Olympus in the north of Greece.
They fought a terrible war with the to try to rule the world.
During one of the battles,the goddess Athena killed the leader of the Giants,Enceladus.
Then,she threw the island of Sicily on top of him and completely buried him.
Since then,Enceladus occasionally moves and tries to escape from under the island and
this,they say,is how earthquakes occur.

Dear Alex,

 
My favourite actror is Orlando Bloom.He is clever and beautiful.

First of all his character is eazy-going,friendly and he is very handsome with gorgeous brown eyes.

Secondly he starred in the film the Lord of the Rings.He is ortimistic about life and he has a great sense of humour.

My bedroom has got a lot of pictures of him because he is the best actor in the world.

My Perfect School

                                                                  My Perfect School

          In my perfect school ,lessons start at 12 o' clock and finish at half past 1. We never have English, History or Language. We have sports, maths, computer lessons and music every day. We listen to music and we never have homework and tests. The teachers are always nice to us.

New Year's Day in Greece.

    New Year's Day in Greece is fantastic.On New Year's Eve we always decorate the house, and children   sing carols in the street. At home we have got a stocking and Santa Claus puts presents in it.
We always open our presents on New Year's Day. In the evening the family has dinner.
We eat beef with fried potatoes and for dessert we often have sweets.
On New Year's Day my family and I wear new clothes and visit friends.

Dear George,

Last weekend I went to Thessaloniki.I stayed in an expensive hotel and I took my playstation 3 and all my games with me. I played all day.
On Saturday night I went to my uncle John and I had dinner.
On Sunday morning I went to the White Tower and I met my friend Alex.
Later, my friend Alex and I went to the hotel for a game at the playstation.
In the afternoon I came back to Kalamata and in the evening I slept early.
Last weekend was really very good.

Meals in Greece.

In Greece we eat lots of different things.
For breakfast we usually eat rusks of honey, some bread with butter or jam and older people drink also some coffee.
For snack we eat a sandwich with ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce.
For lunch we eat beef with fried potatoes and some salad with tomatoes, white cheese and olives.
For dinner we eat some salad.
My favourite food is spaghetti.

Dear John,

I'm having a great time in Thessaloniki. The city is very good. 
It has got a very interesting history.

The city has got a White Tower. There are lots of cafes,restaurants,shops and very good hotels.

Yesterday,I went to the White Tower and I saw the view. Last night I went to an expensive restaurant 

but its had very very very good foods.I took some spaghetti and it was delicious.
