A NATURAL DISASTER

The earthquake  in Cephalonia, 2013

Last year in Cephalonia Greece an earthquake happened. 
Many buildings and flats collapsed from the earthquake. 




The Police took care the town because the people had abandoned their homes and the thieves were ready to steal. The people stayed in one studium for a few days until they could find a better place to spend the winter.

TOP SIX ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS AND HOW WE CAN SOLVE THEM 

Our planet needs help and we should all do our part.Here are six environmental problems that are worse  that are we thought and and have put planet in great danger.               

Energy waste

We need to start saving electricity.
Put on a jumper instead of turning up the heating 
or turn off the lights when you are not using them. 

Endangered species:
Many people around the world like sushi,
but tuna is one of the fish that are is danger of dying out. 
Do not buy products that come from animals in danger! 

Deforestation:
We should try and save our forests,especially the rainforests as there might be no rainforests by 2030. 

Rubbish
It is a dirty job, but we have to do it! Remember the three Rs:

Recycle, Reuse, Reduce. 

Air pollution:
Cars and factories pollute the air we breathe.There are other ways to get to school and 
they are actually cheap!Maybe it is time we all start cycling and using public transport!

Water pollution:
We throw our rubbish into the seas,rivers and lakes.Is there a factory that pollutes a lake,river or a coast near you? 
Get organised at school and fight for cleaner beaches,lakes and rivers. 

Email: My Favourite Actor

Dear Jim, hi! 
Sorry I didn't write earlier, but I was taking an exam and I really didn't have time at all.
In your last email you asked who is my favourite actor. 
Well, my favourite actor is Orlando Bloom. I think he is the best actor in Hollywood 
and I have watched all his films. He starred in The Lord of the Rings, the best of the films. 

First of all, he is very handsome with gorgeous brown eyes and black hair. 
He is welt-built and very strong.
Secondary, as a person he seems very friendly, and a very good man. He is easy-going and optimistic about life. I am his biggest fan!
          
What about you? Do you have any star who is your favourite? 
I'd also like to know what are the subjects you have to do this year. Are they difficult, interesting, or what? Which one is your favourite?

A Person I Admire

My favourite football player is Kostas Mitroglou. The first time I saw him was on a football match. It's was a football match between Greece and Romania.

      First of all, Mitroglou is a very talented player. He plays in the team of ''OLYMPIACOS''. He's really good. Actually he is an amazing player!

      Secondly as a person he has a lot of humour. Kostas Mitroglou is very easy-going and friendly. That’s why he has a lot of friends. Then, he is reliable and optimistic about life. This helps him be a good athlete.

      I think I'm one of Kostas Mitroglou’s  biggest fans. I have watched all the matches that he has played.

I hope he continues to play with Olympiakos.

Funny Summer Weather

One day last summer it was so sunny and we decided to go to the sea to swim.
It was lovely. We played volleyball and beach tennis. We had real fun.
Then, suddenly it started to rain. We didn't have jackets and we were cold. So, we ran back home and as we were tired we had a bath and we went straight to our beds.
That day was fantastic!
