The earthquake in Cephalonia, 2013
Last year in Cephalonia Greece an earthquake happened.
Many buildings and flats collapsed from the earthquake.
The Police took care the town because the people had abandoned their homes and the thieves were ready to steal. The people stayed in one studium for a few days until they could find a better place to spend the winter.

Energy waste
We need to start saving electricity.
Put on a jumper instead of turning up the heating
or turn off the lights when you are not using them.
Endangered species:
Many people around the world like sushi,
but tuna is one of the fish that are is danger of dying out.
Do not buy products that come from animals in danger!
Deforestation:
We should try and save our forests,especially the rainforests as there might be no rainforests by 2030.
Rubbish
It is a dirty job, but we have to do it! Remember the three Rs:
Recycle, Reuse, Reduce.
Air pollution:
Cars and factories pollute the air we breathe.There are other ways to get to school and
they are actually cheap!Maybe it is time we all start cycling and using public transport!
Water pollution:
We throw our rubbish into the seas,rivers and lakes.Is there a factory that pollutes a lake,river or a coast near you?
Get organised at school and fight for cleaner beaches,lakes and rivers.

Sorry I didn't write earlier, but I was taking an exam and I really didn't have time at all.
In your last email you asked who is my favourite actor.
Well, my favourite actor is Orlando Bloom. I think he is the best actor in Hollywood
and I have watched all his films. He starred in The Lord of the Rings, the best of the films.
First of all, he is very handsome with gorgeous brown eyes and black hair.
He is welt-built and very strong.
Secondary, as a person he seems very friendly, and a very good man. He is easy-going and optimistic about life. I am his biggest fan!

On Saturday I usually listen to music and I eat pizza .
I visit my grandad and my grandma and we watch TV together.
I sometimes go to the cinema with my friends on Sunday.
I always play football or basketball and I make a big cheese cake with my mum.
I cook with my mum and after that we eat the food and finally we clean our hands.
I don't go fishing because I do my homework.

I swam in the lake in the village and my brother and I rode our bikes.
My family and I went to a restaurant and ate pizza, chips and salad.
Later, we went to my cousins' house.
I did my homework with my mum in the morning and in the afternoon
I climbed in the mountain Kaligades.
I had a great time last week and I want to go back soon.
